G. V. Prakash

G. Venkatesh Prakash Kumar (born 13 June 1987), also known as GVP, is an Indian musician, actor, and film producer who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. He is a recipient of three National Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards, and three SIIMA Awards. Originally a child singer in the 1990s, Prakash made his debut as a composer with S Pictures' Veyil (2006), and rose to prominence in the early 2010s. He made his acting debut in 2015 with Darling.
